Nasacort is a corticosteroid used to treat the symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (hay fever). It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

BEFORE USING :
INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine
that you are taking. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, allergies,
pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
DIRECTIONS :
Follow the directions for using Nasacort provided by your doctor. Nasacort is to be used in the nose. Nasacort may come with an instruction
leaflet. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions that you may have
before using Nasacort. SHAKE WELL before using a dose. STORE Nasacort
at room temperature, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Do not
puncture, break, or burn container, even if it appears empty. IF YOU MISS A DOSE
OF Nasacort, use it as soon as possible. If it is much more than 1 hour since
your missed dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.
CAUTIONS :
IT MAY TAKE SEVERAL DAYS for Nasacort to give full benefit. Continue to
use it as directed during this time. DO NOT USE Nasacort more often or for
a longer time than your doctor recommended. DO NOT USE Nasacort for other
nasal problems. AVOID GETTING Nasacort IN YOUR EYES. IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD
CHICKENPOX OR MEASLES, avoid contact with anyone who has either of these diseases.
Nasacort MAY AFFECT GROWTH RATE in children. Your child's growth should be
checked regularly while using Nasacort. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING
PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using Nasacort
during pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF Nasacort IS EXCRETED in breast milk. IF
YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using Nasacort, check with
your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS :
SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include headache, dry nose,
throat irritation, sneezing or nose bleeds. If they continue or are bothersome,
check with your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact
your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
DRUG INTERACTIONS :
Drug interactions can result in unwanted side effects or prevent a medicine

IF YOU TAKE TOO MUCH :
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency
room immediately.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :
If your symptoms do not improve within 3 weeks or if they become worse, check
with your doctor. DO NOT SHARE Nasacort with others for whom it was not prescribed.
DO NOT USE Nasacort for other health conditions. KEEP Nasacort out of
the reach of children. ALWAYS HAVE A SPARE INHALER available in case the unit
malfunctions or is empty. IF USING Nasacort FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME,
obtain refills before your supply runs out.
